For wedding photography I’m conveniently located between Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester, servicing mostly within the East Midlands, West Midlands, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
You’ll find me as being friendly, informal and relaxed, so helping me to capture beautiful natural images in the Reportage Wedding Photography style (more candid), so making efficient use of your valuable wedding-day time, allowing the whole day to flow for all. I often advise to have some Traditional Wedding Photography also (more formal), meaning some groups and family shots which I take quickly and professionally. This will help keep mom happy and will give some more choice in the way the images portray the day, but it’s your big day and so all the choices are yours.
The best way to capture your wedding is mostly instinctive and it’s wonderful to be able to make a living doing what I enjoy! To help, for my tools, I use the best Professional Nikon gear. I’ll capture the mood and atmosphere that will remind you of the day for years to come.
In seeking for the ideal wedding photographer, my advice to you is to look for a one in tune with your expectations. You’ll want creativity, so look for quality, style and at least some personality. One who doesn’t take the attention away from the couple and who can direct people in a fun and pleasing manner with no heckling in order to get a picture.
You’ll want plenty of time to relax and enjoy with family and friends. So often I’ll be quietly hidden amongst the guests capturing those photo-journalistic images that time too often forgets and many of which you may otherwise never have seen; the expressions, smiles and tears, laughter and hugs…the grandparent and grandchildren, the flowers and the scenery…the feelings of the day all expressed as a story of pictures.
